This is a piece in which a mirror surface was horizontally installed about |
10cm above the floor of the exhibition room. Its surface was covered with |
artificial snow. |
When the viewer looks at the surface, which is placed like a floating, |
temporary floor, he/she will see, from the fabricated gaps in the artificial |
snow, the virtual image of the room including himself/herself reflected on |
the mirror surface. |
It represents the fact that reality is reflected as a virtual image and that |
one's view is obstructed by the fabrication. |
